# Create Invoice

> Create a draft invoice.

## Overview

Create an invoice. It starts as a draft, which can be edited freely. Sending
it finalises the document, so the customer never sees the bill move after they
received it.

    Send your API key in the `Api-Key` header:

    `X-API-Key` is accepted too. The key prefix decides the environment:

    ## Responses


    Objects and lists come back under `data`. Errors come back under `error`
